Ltd entered into marketing and OEM distribution agreement with Agrenvec S.L., a leading Spanish Biotech Company and one of the most dynamic European companies specialized in Recombinant proteins and in Antibodies for the R&D market. Agrenvec´s core business is based on the production of Recombinant proteins in non-transgenic plants and Antibodies against those plant-produced proteins. The Company has their our own technological platform (expression vectors), facilities and purification technologies. Agrenvac\'s platform technology is based on the transient expression of viral vectors derived from modified plant viruses, Turnip Mosaic Virus (TuMV) and Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV).Agrenvec´s production system is more efficient, fast, flexible and cheap compared to transgenic plants recombinant proteins production.The scaling-up process compared with bio-reactors is simple and lineal. There are no issues with inclusion bodies as E.coli. All Recombinant proteins are Animal free, Active, ≥ 97 % pure and with an extremely low Endotoxin level . Antibodies against these plant-produced proteins have no vertebrate cross-reaction, giving very clean backgrounds signal (Clean Antibodies).
